Every import project is unique — but pricing shouldn’t be confusing. Here’s a clear breakdown of ImportMate’s services for UK startups, sellers, and small businesses importing from China.

1. Free Initial Consultation

Tell us what you want to import from China to the UK. We’ll review your idea, explain the process, and provide a free cost overview before anything starts.

2. Product Sample Sourcing Service

Ideal for testing product quality and supplier reliability before committing to a full shipment.

  • ✔️ Updates with product images, prices, and shipping details
  • ✔️ Typical turnaround time: 1–2 weeks

Service Fee: £75 per sample (supplier sample cost and shipping not included)

Payment: No deposit needed — you simply pay £75 per sample plus any supplier shipping cost.

Example: A sample priced at £100 (including supplier shipping) plus our £75 service fee totals £175. Each additional sample is £75.

Once you’re happy with your sample, you can move straight into our full Import Management Service.

3. Sourcing & Import Management Service

Our complete, done-for-you import solution — from supplier sourcing and order negotiation to final UK delivery.

Service Fee:
£200 flat for orders up to £1,333
15% for imports between £1,334 and £4,000
10% for orders above £4,000
(Minimum charge: £200)

Deposit: A £150 service deposit is required before supplier sourcing begins. It’s deducted from your final balance once the order proceeds. If you don’t move forward, the deposit covers the time and communication already completed.

Example: On a £4,000 order, the 10% management fee would be £400. With the £150 deposit already paid, your remaining balance would be £250.

Projects involving custom packaging, branding, or multiple suppliers may incur a slightly higher fee, always confirmed in advance.

4. Import-Only Management Service (Existing Supplier)

Already have a supplier and confirmed order? We’ll manage everything — from freight coordination to UK customs — ensuring your goods arrive cleared and ready for delivery.

Service Fee: 15% of total shipping and import costs (minimum £150)

Deposit: A £150 service deposit is required before import coordination begins. This is credited toward your final balance once shipping is complete.

Example: If your international shipping, customs, and VAT total £800, the 15% fee would normally be £120 — however, our £150 minimum applies to cover import handling, documentation, and carrier communication.

Once confirmed, you’ll receive a secure invoice before we begin managing your import. Payment is processed safely and receipted for your records.

All prices are estimates. Final costs depend on your product type, order size, and shipping method. You’ll receive a tailored quote after we review your enquiry.

Choose our Product Sample Sourcing Service. We’ll find and vet manufacturers, arrange samples, and handle supplier communication so you can focus on reviewing quality and pricing — and once you’re happy, we’ll move straight into your Sourcing & Import Management Service.

I already have a supplier — can you just manage the import?

Yes. Choose our Import-Only Management Service. We’ll coordinate your freight, customs paperwork, and import charges for a 15% management fee (minimum £150). You’ll receive a secure invoice and regular updates from dispatch to delivery.

Can I get a custom quote if my order doesn’t fit these options?
